Govinda is making a comeback and we couldn’t help but review his movie promo!
Govinda has always been known for his whacky humour and smooth flowing dance steps. Being a versatile actor he has always essayed roles that were witty and entertaining while also portraying characters that were touched with a bit of serious. From ‘Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai’, ‘Hero No. 1’ to ‘Partner’, Govinda’s performance has always given the audience something to remember.
Recently we came across a trailer of Govinda’s latest film, his comeback Bollywood film titled ‘Aa Gaya Hero’! Needless to say that the promo was entertaining, ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ had elements that took us back to the 1990’s. Since the opening shot of the promo we were witness to multiple VFX tragedies and dialogues which are one-too-full of sass.
From doing a ninja-level back-flip from a swing onto a bicycle, to Michael Jordan style slam dunks, Govinda’s character in the film incorporates all the qualities of a super human robot! Yes, a super human robot.
Known as the Police Wala Don, Govinda possesses the all-knowing skill of a classic Bollywood hero along with an undying integrity and passion to fight crime. The plot of the entire film was easily given away right in its first promo!
Full of multiple backflips and the power to blow the cap off politicians (quite literally). ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ is a pretentious, run-off-the-mill basic Bollywood story about one man who single-handedly fights crime brilliantly and dances just as well.
What to look out for as you watch this promo: major courtroom drama, Govinda’s rocket launching pen, and some matrix level moves! ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ is flooded with all the sass and drama of a 90’s Bollywood heroic drama, so much so that the promo too ends with a super clichéd slo-mo of Govinda, accompanied with explosions in the background!
Watch at your own risk.
