Kangana turns script writer for her next

National Award winning director Hansal Mehta’s film, Simran starring Bollywood’s queen Kangana Ranaut has finally wrapped up. Rumours are rife that the movie is an adaptation of a real-life story. Like always, Kangana has gone all out for this movie and also co-written the script of the movie along with script-writer Apurva Asrani.

The multi-talented star had learnt screenplay writing in New York and felt it was time to put her skills to practice. The movie is a comedy- drama and looking at Kangana’s previous films, we’re sure her inputs will benefit the film.

While talking to a leading daily, Hansal praised Kangana as he said, “I have worked with three finest actors of our country, Kangana Ranaut, Rajkummar Rao and Manoj Bajpayee. With Kangana, there is an added advantage of her being a superstar. There is no doubt about the fact that she is a superstar not only because of being a mainstream actor but also for speaking her mind without fear and by doing so, she is setting an example. I am older than her but she inspires me.”

Simran went on floors last October and is scheduled to release this September. After discovering this side of Kangana, we can’t wait for the film to release, can you?
