Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ is a blockbuster hit not just with the critics but also with common masses. The film has already crossed 350 crore mark beating his own film PK. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari of ‘Chillar Party’ fame. Khan played the role of a wrestler Mahaveer Singh Phogat who teaches his daughters Geeta and Babita how to wrestle.
The 51-year-old actor took to Twitter and shared his happiness with his fans and followers and tweeted, “I am absolutely overwhelmed with all the love that ‘Dangal’ has got. It is one of the most passionate responses I have ever received. I want to thank everyone for owning the film as their own.”
Dangal has earned Rs 353.68 crore at the box office, earning Rs 4.03 crore on its third Tuesday. It took Dangal only nineteen days to become the first film in the history of Indian cinema to earn Rs 350 crore at the box office, domestically.
Now, that is a standard set high for Bollywood!
