Irrfan’s Hindi Medium to star 50 kids
The kids in the film belong to the world’s largest community of street performers- This is something you don‘t want to miss!
Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium has several impressive soundtracks and the newest song Ek Jindari will also release soon.
Ek Jindari, which is the climax song of the film, features Irrfan Khan with 50 kids from the Katputli colony in Delhi. These kids are magicians, snake charmers, acrobats, singers, dancers, actors and musicians. T-hey are also world’s largest community of street performers.
Amongst these kids is a child prodigy drummer of India, Anshuman Nandi, who has won a National award at the age of 3. He will be seen playing drums in the song.
The song has been composed by Sachin Jigar and marks the Bollywood singing debut of Tanishka (Sachin’s daughter). It all happened when Irrfan heard her crooning to a stanza of the song and he was so mesmerised by the little champ that the composers decided to make her sing this beautiful song for Hindi Medium. The makers realising that she fits the perfect age group of the kids they were shooting with, flew her to Delhi to be a part of the song and sing it for the live audience.
