WTF!
Shah Rukh Khan might LOSE his Alibaugh farmhouse!
Shah Rukh Khan, apart from being a proud owner of the eponymous Red Chillies Entertainment banner, is known to have many properties as a part of his fortune, including the lavish Alibaug farmhouse where Khan recently celebrated his birthday along with the who’s who of Bollywood.
But now, as per what has been revealed by a renowned financial portal, that house might soon become a property of the government as it is allegedly a part of the many infamous benami properties that the government has recently gone all gung-ho on!
If that one particular report is to be believed, the farmhouse wasn’t even purchased by Khan in his own personal capacity, but he allegedly incorporated a certain farming company, known as Déjà Vu Farms, which was meant to buy plots of land for farming purposes, such as the one on which Khan’s farmhouse stands on.
But soon, Srinivas Parthasarathy and Somasekhar Sundaresan, the original shareholders of the so-called farming firm since its inception in 2004, allegedly handed over the ownership to SRK and Gauri Khan, who reportedly appointed Ramesh Chhiba, Savita Chhiba and Moreshwar Rajaram Ajgaonkar as the new directors of Déjà vu. Ramesh and Savita Chibba are SRK’s in-laws.
And, now that Déjà vu hasn’t reported any income out of farming activities, the house, which is built on the piece of land which was meant for farming, has come under the scrutiny of the investigation panel which is in charge of hunting down benami properties.
In the light of this, a mail has been sent to SRK’s Red Chillies office and even to the CEO of the SRK-owned Kolkata Knight Riders, which still haven’t been answered to.
So, if Khan or anyone else does not respond to the emails within a couple of months, the house could be very well taken away by the government!
Looks like this time, Khan has come into some SERIOUS trouble!
