Sunny Deol to team up with Gadar director AGAIN?!

Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma made history with their first collaboration Gadar: Ek Prem Katha about 16 years ago. The film also starred Ameesha Patel and the directors’ son, Utkarsh Sharma, who played Sunny Paaji’s son in the film.

Fast forward to today, now that same lad who played Sunny’s son is prepping up for his full-fledged debut under Anil’s production banner. The film is titled Genius. Meanwhile, Sunny’s son, Karan Deol is also busy shooting his debut film in Manali which is helmed by his father himself. As many already know, the film is titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas!

But, while the two have turned directors for their kids, they are somewhere playing with the idea of coming together for a film for the fifth time!

As per reports, the Anil had already approached Sunny with a script, to which he quite readily agreed to be a part of.

A source reveals, “Sunny and Anil have always shared a great working relationship. Anil had this script and approached Deol, who immediately agreed to be part of the film. It’s titled Kavach.”

To this, the source adds, “Sharma will start this film right after his next. They will begin filming for Kavach sometime next year and the film is expected to release in the last quarter of 2018 or January 2019, depending on their schedule.” 

Talking about the same, Anil said, “I am busy finishing Genius which is my son Utkarsh’s debut film. I don’t want to talk about any other film right now.”

Well, it’s understandable as to why they do not want to talk about Kavach. But, here’s hoping that we hear more about the film soon! We are already having ideas as to what the script could be.
