SHOCKING! Ranbir Kapoor sued for Rs 50 lakhs

Ranbir Kapoor is going through a fantastic phase as an actor currently. He has delivered a smash-hit in the form of Sanju, become the youngest contender to clinch the 300-crore club in his name and now has some really BIG films lined-up. But on the personal forefront, he has landed himself in some major trouble. The actor has been sued for over 50 lakhs.

Here’s the crux of the story- The actor leased out his apartment located in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar back in October 2016, has been sued by its tenant for not complying to the rental agreements. Sheetal Suryawanshi, the person in question, has sought damages of over 50.40 lakhs with an interest of 1.08 lakhs for being evicted from the apartment much before the decided agreement. She’s now seeking legal help for the sudden eviction. She was asked to vacate the flat by August 2017 itself, whereas she states she was supposed to leave by October-end of the year. She also said that the agreement was for a period of 24 months.

Ranbir, on the other hand, denied all the allegations and stated that the agreement was only for a period of 12 months. He also stated Suryawanshi vacated the flat with her own free will and also defaulted the rent for three months.
