Ram Gopal Varma has been someone who has always been unapologetically expressive about his views on the micro-blogging site Twitter. He has been loved, hated and severely trolled at times for the way he has expressed himself within the 140 character bracket. He believed that Twitter, just like anything in life, is an extension of one’s personality. Little did we know that one fine day he will bid his Twitter account adieu.
His last tweet read: “This my last tweet before my tweet death..but I will not RIP nd seriously work from now on @RGVzoomin Birth:27/5/2009 Death:27/5/2017 (sic),”
Ram Gopal Varma is the second celebrity to have quit the micro-blogging site after singer Sonu Nigam, who kissed goodbye to his nearly 7 million followers via a 24-part twitter rant.
However, Ram Gopal Varma has left Twitter only be more active on Instagram from now on.
He announced his entry to the world of Instagram by saying “I decided to speak only through pictures and videos on Instagram from now on…
We are now wondering if quitting Twitter is something that is going to be followed by all one at a time given it has proven to be a major source of controversies for them?
