Hot Air Balloon Promotion For Rajinikanth-Akshay’s 2.0

Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 (Robot 2) is no doubt one of the most anticipated and expensive movies of Indian cinema. Apart from this, the makers have even planned a very unique and innovative promotional strategy for the film. As a part of the promotions, the makers will float a hot-air balloon across the world with life-sized images of the lead characters Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar.

According to reports, after Los Angles, the hot air balloon will be taken to San Francisco, London, Dubai, Australia and many other places. And the balloon will also tour around various cities of India.

2.0 (Robot 2) is made on a budget of over Rs 400 crore. According to reports, the producers of Lyca Productions have reserved Rs 40 crore just for the film’s promotions. Last year, they spent Rs 6 crore just to unveil the first look posters of 2.0 (Robot 2).

The teaser of the film will be out on Diwali and the trailer of the film will be out on Rajinikanth‘s 67th birthday i.e 12 December.

Directed by Shankar the movie will mark the debut of Akshay Kumar in the Tamil film industry.
