BOX OFFICE: It’s all about Veere Di Wedding this weekend

Despite all the criticism coming its way, Veere Di Wedding is continuing its glorious march at the box-office, and it seems it should comfortably enter into the zone of SUPERHIT even before it completes a week. If it collected 10.70 crores on Day 1, the collections jumped on Day 2. Ace trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the second day collections on his Twitter timeline, have a look right here:-

#VeereDiWedding witnesses an UPWARD TREND on Day 2… Sun biz is expected to be in double digits too… Weekend should comfortably close at ₹ 35 cr+, as per trends… Fri 10.70 cr, Sat 12.25 cr. Total: ₹ 22.95 cr. India biz.

As far as the other release of the week, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, is concerned, the less said the better. Bhavesh Joshi Superhero had a dismal and disappointing start of around 25-30 lakhs, yes, that’s it! This Superhero may have been the saviour of the Aam Janta on the big screen, but the real-life Janta was clearly in no mood to witness this common-man-turned-vigilante’s fight for justice.

It seems the film won’t sustain even for a week, and the weekend collections are unlikely to jump, in fact, they may register a further drop. All in all, it’s all about Veere Di Wedding this week. And if it touches the 100-crore figure, it could be a pleasant surprise for the makers and a terrible shock for the haters.
