Both Race 3 and Veere Di Wedding have done fairly well at the box-office. If the Salman Khan starrer is all set to score a double century worldwide, The Kareena-Sonam film is all set to enter the 100-crore club worldwide as well. But apart from their commercial success, there’s one more thing that unites these diametrically different films, and that’s the dismal and shockingly low IMDB rating, owing to poor reviews from both critics and a majority of the audiences. In fact, they both have tied in terms of the rating, have a look right here:-
If Veere Di Wedding was criticized for trying too hard to appear bold, gratuitous usage of expletives, caricaturist characters, predictable conflicts and outcomes, Race 3 had to bear the brunt for a stale story-line, unintentionally hilarious dialogues and a complete dilution of the thrills and chills that made the first two films so many people’s guilty pleasures. But there were a lot of people who enjoyed both the films, and maybe that’s why they have done well at the box-office, and as they say, Box-Office is always the King!
