Are Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sidharth Malhotra on Karan Johar’s mind?

For an industry that, in our opinion, has relied on the same on-screen pairings multiple times over for box office success, Bollywood, 2018 was all about big surprises. The pairings that we had secretly wished for but never dreamt of materializing like that of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt (For Gully Boy) to Alia and Ranbir Kapoor for Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra, are coming true and how!

And it looks like we are, for once again, going to be taken by surprise, if there’s any truth to what we are about to tell you!

Reportedly, Karan Johar is once again thinking about a film with an ensemble cast. This time around, the film is said to be a story of two couples, and KJo apparently wants Sidharth Malhotra and Kareena Kapoor Khan to essay one of them!

Yes, you read that right! Talking about technical details to the extent that is known, the film will be directed by Raj Mehta who assisted Shashank Khaitan in Dhadak, the soon-to-be-released remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat that features Beyond The Clouds star Ishaan Khatter and debutante Janhvi Kapoor!

It will be indeed interesting to see Kareena reunite with the Dharma head honcho after 6 whole years and Sidharth Malhotra going back to the place where he started from because his last 3 releases or so did not really do so well at the ticket counters.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan is about go on a promotional spree for her upcoming chick-flick, Veere Di Wedding, while Malhotra has a Captain Vikram Batra biopic in hand, about which not much is known to us.
