Aamir Khan’s ‘Salute’ to be based on this Astronaut’s life
Aamir Khan is a perfectionist and the success of his latest film, ‘Dangal’ based on Mahavir Singh Phogat’s is the biggest proof of it. Now, the actor is coming up with yet another biopic based film for his next. The film ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’ is renamed ‘Salute’ and will be based on Rakesh Sharma’s life.
Aamir has already started prepping up for the film so much so that he began working on the script of the film during the shoot of ‘Dangal’. The movie will be helmed by Mahesh Mathias and will be produced under Siddharth Roy Kapur’s banner. The story is about Rakesh Sharma, along with Russian astronauts Yury Malyshev and Gennadi Strekalov who went on a mission. For 27 days, 21 hours and 40 minutes, the trio were orbiting out in the space, conducting over 43 experimental sessions.
The movie will be launched in 2018.
