Aamir Khan comes back with another initiative- Jalmitra
The cerebral and meticulous Aamir Khan, who almost revolutionized the Indian Television with his show, Satyamev Jayate in 2012, will be back with a yet another insightful and entertaining season as well, that showcases the plight and problems our nation is grappling with. With regards to this, the actor has released a video on his social media account, where he’s urging everyone, especially his fans, to be a Jalmitra.
To elaborate, Aamir Khan has basically invited all his fans to contribute to the betterment of the villages of Maharashtra by working there. Back in 2016, the state of Maharashtra was hit by its worst drought of all time, to ensure such a calamity doesn’t strike again, Aamir has undertaken the responsibility for the upliftment of the villagers of the state. The actor says, “Come, be a jalmitra, work in the villages, do shramadaan, help a village and I assure you that by the end of the day, you will realize that the village has ended up helping you.” Watch the video right here :-

On the workfront, Aamir Khan will be next seen in YRF’S Thugs Of Hindostan, which is all set to release on the 7th of November this year. Reportedly, after completing Thugs, he’ll start working on the cinematic version of the Mahabharata, which he has always dreamt of portraying on the celluloid. The film is likely to have a budget of a jaw-dropping 1000 crores. As of now, no confirmation about the same has been made yet.
