Irrfan Khan can be called the torchbearer of content-driven cinema in India. He is well known for his work in global entertainment industry and that’s no secret. In the past decade, his exploration as an actor has paved a unique trend for content-driven films with strong female characters, which is an endearing quality.  Given his past and current line-up of films, one can safely say that the man has no apprehensions about working with a new female actress, as long as she can deliver on her bit of the story in the best way possible.

The Lunchbox
Nimrat Kaur is a big reason why we adore this film. Although Irrfan and Nimrat never really meet but yet, but let’s not forget that the film was less about love than about the emotional vulnerability that relationships put us in.

Hindi Medium
Hindi Medium is a 2017 Indian comedy-drama film features Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead, and one can say that Saba performed her part in the story with a kind of grace that seemed effortless on the surface. In fact, Irrfan had recommended Saba to the director and producer, and the rest as we know it was history.

The Song of Scorpions
The film stars Golshifteh Farahani as a tribal woman learning the ancient art of healing and Irrfan Khan as a camel trader. Irrfan saw her first time during the Abu Dhabi film festival and was then quick to tell Anup Singh about her.

Qarib Qarib Singlle 
The trailer of Irrfan and Parvathy starrer is out and we are already looking forward to it. Parvathy’s breezy romance and ease in acting can’t be missed and her coupling with someone of Irrfan’s calibre definitely makes the wait for the film more difficult.

Karwan
A few stills from this Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salman and Mithila Palkar have been making rounds. By the looks like it, it can be one helluva film cause it seemingly has the best of talent on board. Karwan, which is a road trip film, is expected to hit the screens later this year, it will be interesting to see Irrfan and debutant Mithila in the same frame as well as Dulquer who also treading the Bollywood waters for the first time.
