Rosamund Pike Deeply Disturbed By The Death Of Jamal Khashoggi

Rosamund Pike has acted in many movies like Gone Girl, Jack Reacher, Pride & Prejudice and the list goes on. In her latest movie A Private War she portrays the role of renowned war journalist Marie Colvin.

Recently, the very disturbing news of Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s death left a mark on the attendees of the premiere of the movie A Private War.

The leading lady of the movie Rosamund Pike had to say this about the horrific incident, “This is the price people pay for delivering truth,” “It’s appalling what happened to Jamal. It’s deeply disturbing.”

A Private War is based on a true story of War Journalist Marie Colvin who was killed in Syria while reporting on the war. The movie showcases the journey of Marie Colvin’s career, which includes how she lost her eye in Sri Lanka.

The movie is directed by Matthew Heineman and it also stars Jamie Dornan and Stanley Tucci.
