Is Ayushmann’s next film a South film remake?

Ayushmann Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar were such an unusual yet, brilliant combination in Dum Laga Ke Haisha! This brilliant pair was to make their second appearance on the silver screen with Anand L Rai in a film titled ‘Manmarziya’. The movie was completed to the T, but soon got shelved because of reasons unknown.

Our Khabri Keeda now tells us that the producer of Manmarziya is now doing a remake of a popular south-Indian film, Kalyana Samayal Saadham with the original director of the movie, Prasanna. Initially, Imran Khan was supposed to take on the lead role in the film. But, after the way things ended with ‘Manmarziya’ the makers of the film decided to cast Ayushmann Khurana in it instead of ‘Katti Batti’ actor, Imran Khan.

Looks like 2017 is going to be a good year for Ayushmann Khurana!
