Irrfan Khan is a man of few words. Few, yet powerful words and when it comes to his sense of humour, people world over know of his wit! But unfortunately, this very wit of his left him in middle of an uncalled for situation in a neighboring country.
Over the weekend, the actor was at an event and was quizzed about rumours doing the rounds about how his next film probably may have a Pakistani actress. Knowing how easily he could’ve been misquoted, Irrfan threw in a joke to ease the situation of a sensitive matter.
Irrfan joked that the actress, Sabah Qamar got married to an Indian and now is technically an Indian.
While the press understood the joke it was somehow made into breaking headlines in Pakistan, leaving the actor completely amused.
