BOX OFFICE: Love for Sanju shows a MASSIVE growth on Day 2

Sanju is on a record breaking spree, and why not! It is a film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the man who’s a master storyteller and someone who meticulously understands the emotions of the audiences. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, one of the most fascinating actors we have been bestowed with and a bona-fide star. And most crucially, it is the story of Sanjay Dutt, one of the most loved superstars of all time, whose journey has been as rocky as it has been smooth.

The first day collection of the film was 34.75 crores. But the film knocked it out of the park on the second day and collected a MASSIVE 38.60 crores. Trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted the same on his Twitter timeline. Have a look right here:-

Even the perfectionist Aamir Khan, who was offered Paresh Rawal’s role of Sunil Dutt, went gaga over Hirani’s portrayal of Dutt’s roller-coaster life. This is what he said about the film:-

Given the record-breaking spree the film’s on, it shall easily cross the 100-crore mark today itself. But will this go past Hirani’s last, PK? Can it enter the 300-crore club? Let’s wait and watch!
