After China, Dangal to release in Japan and South America

After the tremendous success of Dangal in China, the film is all set to release in Japan and South America.

Aamir Khan at the success party of Dangal said “Yes, I think so. We will be releasing it in Japan. I have had a word with the film’s team, and I have recommended that since the film has connected so well in China, we should look at other markets too. South America, for instance, is a huge market. My guess is that the [South American] audience’s emotional key is very similar to that of Indians. Those are the audiences we should look at”

Dangal has achieved milestones at the Chinese box office. The biographical sports drama raked in around $ 169 Million (1089 crores) at the Chinese box office.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal showcases the inspiring story of the Phogat sisters, raised to be wrestling champions by their authoritative father.

Dangal is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion pictures and it also features Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar in key roles.
