Is Veere Di Wedding IN TROUBLE?

The Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania-starrer Veere Di Wedding has been making the right kind of buzz around itself cause if the promos of the same are to go by, the film, upon its release, will re-define the chick flick genre for good in India.

But, seems like when you create a piece of ground-breaking content, especially here, you cannot possibly release it without having the authorities (Or, in this case, the CBFC), come in the way of its release at least once!

Yes, you read that right! As per our Khabri Keeda, the film, which was all set to hit screens coming Friday, has not yet been cleared by the certification board, owing to the kind of language that the leads have used in it and content of the feature presentation in general.

If there’s any truth to this story, there’s a very good chance that the film may not begin its theatrical run as per the schedule, as, if memory serves us right, a film gets its certificate much earlier than merely a week away from the date it’s slated to hit the screens on.

We sincerely hope that this piece of news is untrue, as we had been waiting for this particular film since the day it went on floors.
