WOW! Are Saif Ali Khan & daughter Sara coming together for a film?

Saif Ali Khan’s daughter dearest Sara Ali Khan is clearly on a roll and there’s no denying that. The starlet, whose debut seemed a bit hazy back in 2017, is already playing a leading lady in two films, one of which is Abhishek Kapoor’s Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer, Kedarnath and Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, a flick which features Padmaavat star Ranveer Singh as his leading man.

But now, we hear that Sara and his daddy dearest Saif Ali Khan might be teaming up for a slice-of-life father-daughter relationship drama.

Yes, you read that right! Reportedly, Nitin Kakkar, the man who is responsible for Sharib Hashmi’s Filmistan, had a meeting with the father-daughter duo for the film that we just spoke about.

A source close to the developments was quoted saying that, “It’s a comical, but poignant take on the friendship and the equation that exists between a baap and his beti. But it will have a message, too.”

To which, the source added that, “Nitin has also approached Sara Ali Khan for the role of the daughter.  This will probably be Saif and Sara’s first film together. Both of them have liked the story and have verbally given their nod. Now, the modalities and the dates need to be sorted out. Sara and Saif were Nitin’s first choices and the makers thought it would make for an interesting casting coup,” 

Well, we definitely agree with that!
