When Vidya Balan BROKE DOWN at the remains of Sridevi!

Just a short while back, Vidya Balan was seen grooving to one of Sridevi’s most iconic numbers, Hawa Hawaii in her last release, Tumhari Sulu. Nor would have she or anyone imagined that the original superstar who was first seen grooving to that tune will leave us all shortly after.

This could very well have been one of the thoughts running through the mind of Balan, who was spotted with her husband, Sidharth Roy Kapur at Sridevi’s prayer meet at Lokhandwala today.

And now, we hear that upon seeing the remains of her icon right in front of her, she couldn’t keep herself together and eventually burst into tears.

Yes, you read that right! Sources say that when her eyes caught the glimpse of what is remaining of India’s first female superstar, her emotions went into a state of overdrive and in no time, she was reduced to tears. Her husband, Sidharth, who was by her side during the episode, tried his best at consoling her.

Then, she isolated herself in a corner only to approach Boney one last time at the event and leaving the venue in tears yet again.

We simply cannot imagine what the Tumhari Sulu star must have felt at the moment. Just like the family of the deceased, we wish all the love and strength to Balan to overcome these tough times.
