When Dia Mirza gave a VERY EXPENSIVE gift to Sanjay Dutt!

Dia Mirza’s latest outing, the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Rajkumar Hirani directorial, Sanju has finally hit the cinema screens today. In the film in question, the Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein star essays the part of Maanayata Dutt, the better half of Sanju Baba. It would be safe to say that if an actor/actress is doing a biopic, the person in question might feel more connected to the person who on whom the biographical film is on, and it seems like Dia Mirza is no exception to that rule, as her most recent gesture makes us believe that Dia grew really fond of Sanjay Dutt and his family during the process of filming the Rajkumar Hirani directorial.

It so happened that post her stint at the IIFA Awards 2018, the cash actress attended an auction that took place after the event, where she managed to get her hands on a Mother India poster worth 1,45,000 which she gifted to, you guessed it, Dutt and his family.

While speaking about the same, she was quoted saying, “I was part of very important and beautiful auction, to restore and preserve the heritage of cinema. And during that auction, some very priceless memorabilia was being auctioned. I found this ‘Mother India’ poster and I thought it would make a very special present for Sanjay Dutt and his family. So I bid for it.”
