Saba Qamar shares HUMILIATING experience at international airport for being a Pakistani

Saba Qamar won everyone’s heart with her performance in Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium. With her simple and on spot acting, she impressed not only the critics but the audience too.

Though the Indian government has banned working with Pakistani actors in India, Saba Qamar has once again made headlines. This time not for a movie but for an interview in which she mentioned how badly she was humiliated when she went an outdoor shoot with her Indian crew.

She said, “We were at the airport and while all my Indian crew went ahead, I was detained. I was thoroughly checked and it was the most embarrassing and humiliating moment for me. This is just because I was a Pakistani.” The actress further said that she felt shameful about how her country, that she is so proud of, is seen as a terrorist state by rest of the world.
