Vidya Balan shares her excitement on the upcoming NTR biopic

NTR, the biopic based on the life of the actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, is one of the most awaited Telugu films of the year since it was announced. The very talented Bollywood actress Vidya Balan being a part of the movie adds more excitement to it. The actress will be essaying the role of NTR’s wife Basavatharakam in the movie.

While interacting with the media on becoming the brand ambassador of Malta India Film Festival 2018, the actress shared her excitement on working in the film and said, “It is my first Telugu film, so I am very excited as I have never spoken and delivered dialogues in other language. I did a small appearance in a Malayalam film but here I have a full-fledged role. I am playing NTR ji’s wife Basavatarakam.” 

“It’s just been five days of shoot so far and it has been a very good experience as the team has been very professional, the work starts at sharp 9 am and the shift ends at 6pm. This is a very different experience for me,” she added.

Apart from Vidya Balan, the movie will also star the Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati as the Andhra Pradesh chief minister and NTR’s son-in-law N Chandra Babu Naidu. Prakash Raj, Rakul Preet and Murali Sharma will also be seen in pivotal roles. The Krish Jagarlamudi directorial will reportedly have a Sankranthi release next year.
