Vidya Balan: What is this baby obsession?

The Jaan of the film Begum Jaan, Vidya Balan expresses herself in the most candid manner there is as she sips on her tea in her Vanity Van. Balan, who was once an insomniac, has now made sleep her first priority.

Here’s what she had to say about Begum Jaan the brothel madam “That’s the quintessential aspect that made me instantly identify with Begum Jaan. I ferociously guard my space. There are times when I retreat and be all by myself,”

She admits that celebrities are hardly allowed that much space. Although a bit of a privacy breach, she finds the overall feeling to be overwhelming.

Balan, who has been paying frequent visits to the doctor frequently, slams down pregnancy rumors “It was annoying. I could be going to a clinic for an acne too! Why is it that every time a woman, post marriage, visits a doctor, there are whispers of her pregnancy?”

“What is this baby obsession? I am not a baby-making machine. Anyway, the world population is on a rise. If some people don’t have children, it’s fine,” She concludes.
