The original Arjun Reddy reacts to Shahid Kapoor doing the remake

We reported a few days ago that Shahid Kapoor will be starring in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, which was a massive hit down south. At the Filmfare Awards (South), the original Arjun Reddy, Vijay Deverakonda,  shared his thoughts on Shahid doing the Hindi version. “Both the Hindi and Tamil version, I am really looking forward to seeing them because it is really cool to see what an actor will do with the same content. I want to see how they did things differently and how they read into the same scenes that I did. As an actor, it will be really interesting to see and the Hindi film is directed by the same director Sandeep,” said the actor. 

Shahid, who just gave the biggest hit of his career in Padmaavat this year, is currently juggling with multiple films, which include Batti Gul Meter Chalu, the Arjun Reddy remake and an untitled film with Raja Krishna Menon where he’ll don the role of a boxer.
