Tanushree Dutta reacts to Amitabh Bachchan’s statement on her harassment case!

Amitabh Bachchan, who’s idolized by millions of cine-goers across the globe for his ‘Angry Young Man’ persona and crime-busting vigilante characters on the celluloid, was severely questioned and criticized for his silence on the Nana Patekar-Tanushree Dutta episode. Actors like Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Kangana Ranaut have come out in support of the actor, but Mr. Bachchan continues to stay mum.

When asked about the same to Dutta, this is what she said, “I’m hurt, as these are people who do movies on social causes. But when it comes to standing up and doing something about what is happening in front of you, there are these evasive statements that don’t make sense.” 

Nana Patekar, meanwhile, who’s shooting for Housefull 4 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, stated in a recent media interaction that he’ll be flying back to Mumbai on the 6th October and holding a press conference to clear his stance.
