Amitabh Bachchan gives words of appreciation to Vijay Varma aka Moeen from Gully Boy!

Actor Vijay Varma aka Moeen Bhai, who is receiving rave reviews for his performance in the recently released film, Gully Boy, for portraying the role of garage boy, drug peddler, a car thief and a best friend to Ranveer Singh, is on a different high. He also received the most coveted letter by none other than, the Shahenshah of Bollywood and the superstar of the millennium Shree Amitabh Bachchan for playing such a complex character with an ease in the film. Varma tweeted about it and was expectedly ecstatic, have a look right here:-

Vijay, last seen in crime thriller film, Monsoon Shootout as the lead protagonist opposite the versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, did a phenomenal job with his character Moeen that led Big B to appreciate his performance and sent him a bouquet of flowers and the coveted letter penned by himself applauding Vijay’s performance, stating “I observed you in Pink, I have lauded you in Gully Boy, the ease of your performance, in a complex role how wonderfully you have played it. So proud of you! Love and wishes ever”

The letter, considered the ultimate seal of approval, several actors wait and with bated breath to receive the coveted letter which is handwritten by Big B. Many other Bollywood actors have received such a letter by Big B including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Taapsee Pannu and now Vijay Varma.

When asked Vijay, he said, “It is truly a blessing to receive words of appreciation and praises from Mr. Bachchan. I am very touched with his kind gesture and I will hold this moment and this memory very close to my heart. I had the honor of working with him on Pink and cannot wait to work with him again”
