Expectations have been over the moon ever since we heard that two of the meanest dancers in B-Town, namely October star Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif will be joining forces along with the man who the global dance industry looks up to, Prabhu deva for a dance film which is touted to be the biggest one to come out of the Bollywood till date. The film in question is being produced by T-Series and will be helmed by Race 3 director Remo D’Souza, who has a penchant for dance films, if the sheer brilliance that he executed Varun’s ABCD 2 with is to go by.
However, guess now if recent developments are to be believed, this film just perhaps became BIGGER!
As per recent reports, the Remo D’Souza directorial will be shot in 4D, hence it could be safely said that the choreographer-turned-director is perhaps adamant to give his audience a wholesome cinematic experience.
How do we know about this? Apparently, D’Souza was reportedly quoted saying, “We are exploring the possibility of 4D and IMAX. I am still learning the technology and I hope to get it right so that I can use it in the appropriate way.”
Speaking of the perils of making a film in 4D, Remo was quoted saying, “Making a 4D film is even more difficult as the audience is totally involved. There are a lot of elements that need to be considered. We need to take care of the camera angles, the mark of the actors, and that sometimes takes a toll on their performances. We don’t want to compromise on the story because of the technology, so we are still toying with the idea,”
So, are you ready to go bonkers with India’s first 4D dance film, should it be made in that?
