Say WHAT? Is Sushant Singh Rajput making a Hindi version of Bangalore Days!?
South remakes had always been a trend in Bollywood. Now, the one that adds to the list is the 2014 Malayalam super hit movie Bangalore Days, starring the adorable Karwaan star DulQuer Salmaan. As per the latest buzz in town, the Hindi adaptation will be reportedly produced by the Ms.Dhoni actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor, who owns a production house has already announced a few films to be made under his banner.
A source confirming the news said, “Sushant liked the film’s concept and how it imparts a message in a subtle way. He wants to play Nivin Pauly’s character (that of an engineer) because he connected with it. He’s also currently in discussions with producer Vivek Rangachari, who currently has the rights for the Hindi remake. It remains to be seen whether the Raabta actor acquires the rights or co-produces the film with Vivek.”
Well Sushant, we hope you will do justice to Nivin’s character in the move!
Coming back to Bangalore days, the movie revolved around three cousins, who unite in Kerala and shifts their base to Bengaluru city which transforms their whole life. The Anjali Menon-starrer had the south superstar Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role followed by Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim, Fahadh Faasil, Parvathy, Isha Talwar and Nithya Menon in pivotal roles.
