Salman Khan to FINALLY reunite with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will Priyanka Chopra be the heroine?

Earlier, a report surfaced on the internet which reportedly stated that superstar Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were collaborating together for a love story, 19 years after the release of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which was their second film together.

Now, it seems like the news is all true as the latest reports suggest that the director has brought Salman Khan on board for his next directorial venture. A source close to the development confirmed that the project is indeed in the works. The report also states that the basic script has been locked and Bhansali is currently working on the screenplay.

Well, Salman already dropped a hint at a possible collaboration with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali at the launch of TV reality show Bigg Boss 12 in September last year. Talking about it he said, “I don’t know much about it. Have only heard a one-liner about it! But Sanjay is not answering my calls. Please ask him to speak to me.”

Meanwhile Priyanka also revealed about it in the current episode of Koffee With Karan. The actress, during the famous rapid fire round on Karan’s show, was asked about the directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bharadwaj, and whom she would like to work with, to which the actress replied with a smile, “I am already talking to both.”

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of Bharat opposite Katrina Kaif, which is slated to release on June 5. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in Shonali Bose’s The Sky is Pink along with Farhan Akthar and Zaira Wasim, which opens in the cinemas on October 11 this year.
