Rani Mukerji trolled heavily on social media for her take on the #MeToo Movement!
It seems like Rani Mukerji has stirred a massive controversy for her latest comment on the on-going MeToo movement.
In the recent round-table conference, moderated by ace critic, Rajeev Masand, which also had the likes of Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Tabu, Anushka Sharma and Taapsee Pannu, Mukerji said something bizarre on the on-going movement. She said ‘self-defence’ is necessary and so is learning martial arts. It should become a part of the school schedule.
To that, Deepika made a very valid point saying, ‘But why to even bring it to the point where girls should learn self-defence’ and Anushka agreed with Deepika, to which Rani defended saying, “You can’t tell mothers how to bring up their children.”
Well, this didn’t go well with the Netizens who slammed her to no extent!
Here are some of their comments below:-

Rani Mukherjee is that friend in group discussion round of placement who thinks speaking more will get more brownie points. https://t.co/56LkqRX6y2

Make it make sense Rani Mukherjee. While upbringing plays a huge role in a child’s life IT IS NOT the only factor in how a child behaves. Some people are born mentally, behaviourally sick. https://t.co/MA4W706aVr
