Ranbir Kapoor SPILLS THE BEANS on Shamshera!
Ranbir Kapoor has really started looking outside his comfort zone and his first attempt at it, the Rajkumar Hirani directorial Sanju, already has us excited.
But, that’s clearly not the only film that features our RK Jr. has us really pumped up. As is probably well known, Ranbir will be seen next in Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy drama titled Brahmastra, post which he will begin working on the Luv Ranjan film which will put him opposite his Rajneeti co-star Ajay Devgn and his first ever period drama, Yash Raj Film’s Shamshera, in which reportedly, Sanjay Dutt will play the part of an antagonist.
While we are well aware of what genre Brahmastra belongs to and what kind of films Luv Ranjan makes, not much was known about Shamshera. Until now.
In a recent interview, Ranbir, while presumably during one of the promotional interviews of his upcoming film, spoke about Shamshera’s plot by saying, “Shamshera is a wonderful action, thriller, adventure movie set in 1800. It’s about a Daaku tribe and their fight for justice from the British for getting what they deserve back.”
Now, that sounds quite interesting, right?
