Padmaavat: Supreme Court turns into HITLER to support the film!

It is when we read pieces of news like this one, our faith in our legal system gets restored. We were amongst the first ones to tell you that the Supreme Court has given a clean chit to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat and has ordered all the states to allow the screening of the film.

While there are many who has (thankfully) abided by the law, certain states, namely Madhya Pradesh and, unsurprisingly, Rajasthan, who are still looking for scope of an appeal and are still pushing for a ban.

And now, it looks like the SC has had ENOUGH and has told the states in question that when the Supreme Court has passed an order, they better abide by it.

There was a three-member committee who looked into the matter of the film, which was spearheaded by Dipak Mishra, who collectively said, “People must understand that the Supreme Court has passed an order. They must abide by it. It is the obligation of the states to maintain law and order.”

 Adding to this, a yet another panel comprising of Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud said, “We are not inclined to modify our order,”
