Padmaavat: Deepika Padukone gets the BEST birthday gift ever!

Padmaavat showed us the insurmountable amount of courage and valour that we as Indians have within ourselves through the magnificent vision that is almost exclusive to celebrated filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

But not only that, it also showed us what kind of powerhouses are its three main leads – Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh!

Speaking of one of them, the centre of focus in this film, Deepika Padukone recently confessed about her best birthday gift that she received this year, which was Padmaavat’s certification that finally arrived earlier this month, which confirmed the fact that the movie will FINALLY see the light of day.

It so happened that when Deepika was on a family holiday when she received a call from Bhansali, which surely must have made time stop for her then.

The actress recently said, “I was holidaying with my family when I got a call from Sanjay (Leela Bhansali) sir saying that the film had got its Censor certificate. Yes, the CC is dated 5.1.2018 and I think it is my most precious and the best birthday gift.’’

Well, the quest for the censor certificate certainly paid off in more than one way, as the epic drama turned out to be DP’s 7th movie in the 100-crore club, which makes her the only actress so far with such a record.
