Mark your calendars on this date for the return of the Sarabhais!
The greatest Indian sitcom of all times, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, didn’t just merely give us memorable episodes. It gave us memories. This was one of those serials that every family looked forward to during late evenings, as it was one of the few which didn’t have family members dying almost once a week and heinous plots weren’t in place to teach one another a lesson.
The Sarabhais taught us how to take a chill pill via the means of their own unique antics of a dysfunctional family living in one of the most glamorous locales of Mumbai.
Fast forward to today, 11 years after the conclusion of the first season, this mad family is coming back as a web series, and we couldn’t help but live the good old days when we got the first glimpse of the promo. The actual date of the show going on air was kept under wraps. But, if sources are to be believed, it’s just less than a month away.
Sources say that the show might go on air as early as 16th May, and on top of that as a confirmation, the home channel also unveiled the date as an advertisement.
When this topic was brought up in a conversation with the maker JD Majethia, who neither confirmed or denied the news simply stated “Well, I haven’t received any confirmation from the home channel’s end as of now but you can definitely consider it to be the tentative date.”
