KJo’s dream project will never see the light of day

KJo aka Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’ has been in the making since 2013. The film’s casting had always been the prime issue for the delay, however, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan were finalised as the lead actors of the film in 2015. But since then, KJo hasn’t spoken much about his super ambitious film, titled, Shuddhi.

Actors Varun and Alia too, have released a couple of films individually and two films together, Humpty Sharma ki Dhulania and its second instalment Badrinath ki Dhulania.

With so much happening, there has been no development in Shuddhi. KJo said that the movie is going through a bad omen and he is not being able to make it.

However, it is believed that the movie is now being shelved as there are major issues related to the budget as the story involves reincarnation.

KJo had been super excited about this project but it clearly looks like Shuddhi’s fate is doomed.
