Karunanidhi Passes Away: Vijay HALTS the shoot of Sarkar to pay his respects!
Dark times have dawned upon our fellow residents in the state of Tamil Nadu as the patriarch of the political party DMK, namely Muthuvel Karunanidhi or M Karunanidhi left for his heavenly journey last night. The 94-year-old politician/writer breathed his last at Chennai’s Kauvery Hospital on Tuesday evening after being in a critical state for 11 days.
In response, many of our beloved celebs such as Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have begun mourning for the seemingly joyful personality in their own ways. While Rajinikanth expressed his grief via a Tweet, Kamal Haasan, who was on a promotional spree for his upcoming film, Vishwaroopam 2 in Mumbai, flew down to Tamil Nadu as soon as he heard the devastating news.
And now, Thalapathy Vijay, who is currently in Las Vegas in order to shoot his upcoming film, Sarkar, is also mourning in his own way.
Check out this tweet by a noted journalist right here:
