Is Kangana Ranaut about to start a yet another CONTROVERSY?

Give us a cheer if you have heard about the Nepotism debate that has been going on since a year! If you are clueless about its origin, look no further than Kangana Ranaut. To give you all a quick re-cap, it was early 2017, when Kangana and her then Rangoon co-star Saif Ali Khan had set the couch on fire after she christened Karan Johar the “Flagbearer of Nepotism” on his very own talk show.

But, although you might not have known the origin story, you would have obviously heard about it in bits and pieces. Now, just like that, a yet another debate might just come up in no time.

It so happened that Kangana allegedly got invited to Star Plus’ maiden show, India’s Next Superstar, which is being judged by Rohit Shetty and, you know it, Johar.

Speaking about the invite going to Kangana, KJo said, “If Star Plus invites Kangana Ranaut, I am sure we would be happy to have her. Humaara dil bada hai, ghar khula hai, and jisko bhi nyota jaega, hum chahte hain wo aaen aur hum bahut prem aur izzat ke saath unka swagat karenge.”

But, when Kangana confirmed her appearance on the show, she kind of did that in a very sour way.

While giving a nod to the news, she added, “I’m happy that Karan is making me feel so welcome, but I think I have been worthy of every platform I’ve been on. I’ve earned my place and deserve to be on it. Nobody has to open any doors for me I am capable of opening all the doors myself.”

To which, she added, “I am the epitome of the tagline being a self-made woman and actress myself, which is precisely why the channel wants me,” she said, quick to add that you can have a creative collaboration even with different sets of ideologies. “I have not gone back on my ideology. I stick to what I believe in.”

Well, Kangana, nobody disagrees with even a single statement that you just made. But, being a little humble and down to earth wouldn’t have cost your towering ego anything!

So, here’s hoping that she once again doesn’t rub off anybody in an undesirable way.
