When you are making the most expensive film of Indian Cinema, it’s surely not easy to complete it quickly. Yes, we are talking about 2.0, starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. It was supposed to release on Diwali 2017 but was later postponed to January 2018. Fate had other plans for the film and it was reported that it would arrive on the eve of Independence Day weekend this year now! But as they say, all good things take time, so the makers are yet to complete the VFX of the film.
A source states, “The 2.0 team had to majorly work on the VFX because they weren’t entirely happy with the first copy. That’s also the reason they haven’t released any promo officially. But they are eyeing the Republic Day weekend next year.” Lest you’ve forgotten, that weekend also happens to be the release of another major Hindi film, Super 30, starring Hrithik Roshan. It’s all set to release on the 25th of January, 2019!
So it seems we are all set to see yet another clash of Akshay and Hrithik after Rustom and Mohenjo Daro!
