Is a Veere Di Wedding SEQUEL on its way?

The Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhasker-starrer Veere Di Wedding has seen an unprecedented level of success at the Indian box office, in spite of the fact that the film received an A rating from the certification board.

As of now, it’s being said that the flick will end its theatrical run after amassing a figure in the bracket of 75-100 crores, which, given its budget, will earn its makers a HUGE sum of cash!

So, for those who have loved the film dearly, here’s some good news for you all!

Reportedly, a source who is apparently close to the production team, has revealed some interesting details which concern the future of the Veeres by saying, “Ekta (Kapoor) and Rhea (Kapoor) may come from different schools of cinema, but have always aimed to make films that are distinctive, and become a talking point. With the success of Veere Di Wedding, several people from the industry have been encouraging them to work on a sequel since the film’s concept and characters received so much love from the audience. At the dinner, the two had a discussion about the story lending itself to a franchise.” 

Now, isn’t that exciting or WHAT?!
