Hope Aur Hum: When Naseeruddin Shah turned CRICKET COACH!
For those who haven’t understood that already, Naseeruddin Shah’s upcoming release, Hope Aur Hum has a yet another important character, which is cricket! In fact, it all starts with the fact that the other protagonist, Anu (Kabir Sajid) is an all-out cricket fanatic! But, the off-screen story is a bit different. Kabir was, in fact, pretty much did not know where to start at all, which seriously concerned Naseer, a cricket enthusiast who has even hosted the cricket-related show known as Mid-Wicket Tales.
So, due to this, Naseer went the extra mile and played a couple of overs and share the rules of the game with Kabir off-screen in his free time along with the cast and crew members who were training the young gun in the game. Kabir was a good student and diligently learnt the art under his reel life grandfather. They had a great time unwinding on the sets in the off hours and playing together helped the entire cast bond better, something that is very evident from the trailer of the flick.
Hope Aur Hum is a Sudip Bandyopadhyay directorial and is produced by Thumbnail Pictures in association with PVR Cinemas, which releases on the 11th May 2018 in cinemas all across India.
