Has Ranbir Kapoor refused to come on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 6?

We reported a few weeks ago that Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor will grace the couch of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 6. This would be the Grand Finale of this season. However, it seems RK Junior has now declined the host’s offer to appear on the show. The real reason is yet to be revealed but it seems there could be two. First, his relationship with Alia Bhatt is the talk of the town these days. Although the duo is yet to confirm it, reports suggest they both are very much a couple. Given the format of the show and how it is known to dig into an actor’s personal life, Kapoor’s discomfort is understandable.

Secondly, the blockbuster success of Sanju has breathed some life into his ailing career. He’s now gearing up for some massively ambitious films like Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, a three-part Superhero drama, and Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera, a period drama high on action and emotions. He has his dates reserved for these two films so taking out time to shoot for the episode seems to be a tough task for the actor.

Well, as we said, the real reason is yet to be out, but the question is- Who will accompany SRK this season if RK is out?
