Distributors of Kaabil return to Rakesh Roshan to collect their losses

Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ which was directed by Sanjay Gupta clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’. Despite facing such a huge clash the Hrithik Roshan starrer received a positive response and managed to collect Rs 100 crores at the Box office.

Made on a budget of only 50 crores, the profit earned by the film was expected to be in the range of around 80 to 85 crores by selling their theatrical rights and Satellite rights. However, some of the distributors are unhappy about their losses. They even have approached Rakesh Roshan asking him to recover their lost money.

If reports are to be believed then the distributors are asking for 15 crores from Rakesh Roshan. Khabri Keeda tells us that even Urvashi Rautella has not been paid for her item number ‘Haseeno Ka Deewana‘ in the film. Rakesh Roshan has not responded to anyone yet. When contacted, Roshan Senior said, “I have heard these rumors that have been done by some people who are not happy with the success of Kaabil, so the best is to ignore them and let them die their own death.”
