Leaked image of Ranbir Kapoor from the shoot of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic

Ranbir Kapoor has already started shooting for the much-awaited biopic based on Sanjay Dutt’s life. Recently an image of Ranbir surfaced the internet where he bears a remarkable resemblance to Dutt. We are thrilled at how Ranbir has transformed himself for this role!

The shooting for the film is taking place at Kamal Amrohi Studio in the western suburbs of Mumbai. The actor gained 12 kilos and has donned Sanju baba’s 1990’s look. The film stars Anushka Sharma as a journalist, Vicky Kaushal as Dutt’s close buddy from the US, Sonam Kapoor as a blend of all the women the actor has ever loved, Manisha Koirala as Nargis Dutt and Dia Mirza as Manyata Dutt. Raju Hirani is looking towards a Christmas release and hopes to wrap up the shooting by June.

In a recent interview, Hirani said, “We are targeting a Christmas 2017 release. It’s not a film about guns, drugs and the underworld. It’s a feel-good film about a father-son relationship… A buddy film with Sanju’s many friends adding up to one from the US, played by Vicky Kaushal.”
