Disha Patani talks about her role in her upcoming period drama, Bharat!

After starring in her career’s biggest hit yet, Baaghi 2, opposite Tiger Shroff this year, actress Disha Patani is gearing up for a yet another action drama, Bharat.  While in the first half of the year, Disha was busy with Baaghi 2,  the actress has spent the second half shooting for the Salman Khan starrer.

The actress, who will be seen playing the role of a trapeze artist in the film, feels this is the most challenging role she has played so far. Talking about it, Disha was quoted saying in an interview, “The year 2018 has been great to me. I have always been fond of working in action-packed films and luckily both my films this year have fulfilled my wishes. The unprecedented success of Baaghi 2, my second film which crossed over Rs 100 crore after MS Dhoni: The Untold Story got me a lot of love from fans across the globe. Bharat has been very special to me since I bagged a role opposite Salman Khan so early in my career. My role in Bharat has been the most challenging one so far. This year has been a positive year to me and I am very grateful.”

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat also stars Katrina Kaif and Tabu in pivotal roles. The movie is slated for an Eid release next year.
