DaasDev: Is Aditi Rao Hydari INSECURE about Richa Chadha?
The trailer of Sudhir Mishra’s DaasDev, that features Richa Chadha as Paro, Aditi Rao Hydari as Chandni and Rahul Bhatt as Dev has created an intrigue amongst the audience as they await for the release of the film in the coming weeks.
The film, that is touted to be a reverse take on the age-old classic Devdas, needless to say, is intriguing in every possible way, to speak modestly.
However, ever since the beginning of the promotional stints, rumors have been doing rounds that Aditi and Richa aren’t exactly get along. While the actresses may have subtly tried to press the rumors off, now we hear that Aditi is insecure with her part in the film as she wanted to be in Richa’s shoes. Not just that, the actress has even mentioned during press interviews vocally saying it out of how she desired and requested to the director Sudhir that she wanted to play Paro.
And now that Richa is been praised for her role in the trailer, sources suggest that the film crew sees unpleasantries flying between the two actresses. It’s also been observed that Aditi is missing in action while promoting the film, and, if sources are to be believed, she might not promote the film during city tours, owing to Richa’s presence.
Sudhir Mishra’s upcoming directorial venture, ‘Daas Dev’ now has a new opening date and will release on 20th April 2018. In the interest of better distribution and marketing efforts, Shringar Films Pvt Ltd has been roped in to handle the PAN INDIA distribution mandate of the film.
Talking about the change of release date, the critically acclaimed director Sudhir Mishra said,“I have shaped the story the way I envisaged it. My part as a director is to put all my energies into the creative process of making the movie and doing justice to the script. As far as business decisions, strategies and release dates are concerned, Shringar Films have a bigger vision for the movie and we know we are in great hands. We are excited to bring Daas Dev to a larger audience”
