CONFIRMED! Shah Rukh Khan to start the Rakesh Sharma biopic from February 2019

Shah Rukh Khan, who’s currently gearing up for the release of Zero, will begin shooting for the Rakesh Sharma biopic from February 2019! Titled Saare Jahaan Se Achcha, the film is rumored to star either Bhumi Pednekar or Rani Mukerji as the female lead. Nothing has been confirmed yet. Talking about the film, producer Roonie Screwvala said, ” We are doing that film with Shah Rukh Khan. We should begin it by February or March next year, but we haven’t announced the female lead yet.”

We also reported that the film may release by Christmas 2019, but it seems we have to wait a little longer to know when the makers plan to open the film in the cinemas. Given the subject and the scale of this ambitious biopic, we hope all goes well for this SRK starrer.
